Sofia Hirani was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Sofia completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management with a concentration in Health Services in 2018 from DeVry University. During the latter years of her undergraduate studies, Sofia started working fulltime at a home health agency, and shortly thereafter began a career in law.
In 2017, Sofia eventually made her way into immigration law, where she worked primarily in family-based immigration. From there she continued her journey into criminal defense and went on to earn a paralegal certificate from Emory University in 2019.
Sofia has been with Arora & LaScala since 2017, where she assists attorneys in all criminal matters, particularly felony and federal cases. Since her time with Arora & LaScala, Sofia has become an active member of the Georgia Justice Project, specifically the Criminal Records Clinic. She has devoted time to the Criminal Records Clinic, working with indigent members of society that are in need of record restrictions.
Sofia enjoys reading and being a part of recreational flag football leagues.
